All Positions

Responsibilities: We are looking to hire a full-time (38 hours a week) caseworker. Our caseworkers are responsible for providing goal-oriented services for families involved with DCS, juvenile probation, and/or those in need of services in the client’s home or one of our Family Focus offices.  Caseworkers provide supervised visitation, parent education, father engagement, transportation arrangements/client transportation  and home-based casework.

Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in social work, psychology, or a directly related field, or a minimum of 4 years of experience in a human services field. Availability to work varied shifts, including evenings and weekends. Applicants must successfully complete all background checks. Applicant must be at least 21 years of age and have a valid driver’s license, proof of insurance and continuous use of a reliable vehicle.

Responsibilities: We are looking to hire a full-time (38 hours a week) Family Preservation Specialist .The Family Preservation (FP) Specialist is responsible for provision of trauma informed intensive home-based family preservation services for families involved with DCS, juvenile probation, and/or those in need of services.  Coordinates and connects with other team members ensuring the safety of children in the home and the delivery of services using a variety of evidence-based treatments that are appropriate and meet the identified goals of the family.This role combines casework skills as they relate to the provision Family Preservation Services intake assessment, writing of initial assessment including goal and recommendations and tasks associated with on-going provision of Family Preservation services.

Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in social work, psychology, or a directly related field is required. At least 1 years’ experience in Family Preservation services or a related prevention model. Availability to work varied shifts, including evenings and weekends. Applicants must successfully complete all background checks. Applicant must be at least 21 years of age and have a valid driver’s license, proof of insurance and continuous use of a reliable vehicle.

Responsibilities: We are looking to hire a full-time (38 hours a week) Father Engagement (FE) Specialist. Our FE Specialist would assist fathers in strengthening the relationship with their children and promoting positive relationships between the fathers, the local DCS Family Case Managers (FCM), and others involved in their children’s care. They are expected to engage fathers in services that will improve safety, stability, well-being, and permanency for their children. They would provide, goal-oriented, services in father’s place or residence including correctional settings, provide needed intervention for physical, sexual, emotional abuse, and/or neglect.  Secondary issues could include substance abuse, mental illness, behavioral problems, developmental disability, or other family dysfunctions. This individual may have their own caseloads and/or also work on Family Preservation cases. This individual would be responsible for establishing and facilitating groups as well.

Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in social work, psychology, or a directly related field, or a minimum of 4 years of experience in a human services field. Minimum 2 years’ experience facilitating groups and/ or working with father-specific populations. Availability to work varied shifts, including evenings and weekends. Applicant must be at least 21 years of age and have a valid driver’s license, proof of insurance and continuous use of a reliable vehicle.

Responsibilities: We are looking to hire full time(38 hours a week) Parent Aide. Our parent aides are responsible for assisting with transportation arrangements/client transportation, assisting families to connect to community resources, providing parenting education, and crisis intervention in connection with the family’s identified goals. Parent aides provide goal-oriented services for families involved with DCS, juvenile probation, and/or those in need of services in the client’s home or one of our Family Focus offices.

Requirements: High School Diploma. One year of experience in home management, home maintenance or childcare. Availability to work varied shifts, including evenings and weekends as needed. Applicants must successfully complete all background checks. Applicant must be at least 18 years of age and have a valid driver’s license, proof of insurance and continuous use of a reliable vehicle.

THERAPIST (LICENSED)

Responsibilities: We are looking to hire full-time (38 hours a week) Licensed Therapists for Porter/ LaPorte Counties. Our therapists provides structured, goal-oriented, time-limited therapy for individuals, families or groups who are in need of therapeutic assistance to address a variety of issues, including trauma, substance use disorder, psychiatric symptoms associated with DSM-V diagnosed disorders, developmental disability, family of origin, or current family dysfunction. Services are provided in the clients’ home or in an office-based setting.

Requirements: Master’s or Doctorate degree with a current license issued by the Indiana Behavioral Health and Human Services Licensing Board as: LSW, LCSW, LSW-Temp, LMFT-A, LMFT, LMFT – Temp, LMHC-A, LMHC, and/or LMHC-T. LCAC Availability to work varied shifts, including evenings and weekends. Applicants must successfully complete all background checks. Applicant must be at least 21 years of age and have a valid driver’s license, proof of insurance and continuous use of a reliable vehicle.

THERAPIST (LICENSE ELIGIBLE)

Responsibilities: We are looking to hire full-time (38 hours a week) Licensed Therapists for Porter/ LaPorte Counties. Requirements: Master’s or Doctorate degree that is applicable toward licensure as LSW, LMHC, LCAC, LMFT. Availability to work varied shifts, including evenings and weekends. Applicants must successfully complete all background checks. Applicant must be at least 21 years of age and have a valid driver’s license, proof of insurance and continuous use of a reliable vehicle.

FAMILY SUPPORT SPECIALIST

Responsibilities: We are looking to hire a full-time (38 hours a week) Famuli Support Specialist (FSS). A Family Support Specialist works within the Healthy Families program optimizing the home environment for the physical and mental well-being of pregnant mothers, infants and toddlers who are at risk. Assists with strengthening the parent-child relationship and meeting informational and other needs of the parents. Works with individual clients in their home.

Requirements: High School Diploma or equivalency, required. Bachelor’s degree in child development, social work, psychology, or a directly related field is preferred. Experience and demonstrated maturity in successfully raising and/or working with infants and young children. Applicants must successfully complete all background checks. Applicant must be at least 21 years of age and have a valid driver’s license, proof of insurance and continuous use of a reliable vehicle.

FAMILY RESOURCE SPECIALIST

Responsibilities: We are looking to hire a full-time (38 hours a week) Famuli Resource Specialist (FRS). The FRS will provide Home Based services and assistance to families to strengthen the parent-child relationship, while helping to meet the informational and other needs of parents.  The FRS will also be responsible for interviewing and conducting the Family Assessment with all accepting families within the target population, identifying families that may be eligible for services and providing resources and referrals to all families contacted.

Requirements: High School Diploma or equivalency, required. Bachelor’s degree in child development, social work, psychology, or a directly related field preferred. Experience and demonstrated maturity in successfully raising and/or working with infants and young children. Applicants must successfully complete all background checks.
